  1. This competition runs from the 9th January – 14th February 2012.
  2. The Reckitt Benckiser VEET Promotion is open to everyone residing in South Africa except employees of Reckitt Benckiser, its merchandisers, advertising, promotional and PR agencies and members of their immediate families.
  3. Entry into this competition is by way of SMS. Participants should SMS the barcode of participating VEET products to 45109. SMSes will cost R1.00.
  4. The Grand Prize winner will be drawn on 15 February 2012 in the presence of accredited auditors. Reckitt Benckiser has engaged Habari (Pty) Ltd to manage the competition and they will endeavour to contact the winner for two weeks from the date of the draw. Should Habari be unsuccessful in contacting the winner, the winner will forfeit the Grand Prize necessitating another prize draw to be held and Habari endeavouring to contact the replacement winner. The process will continue until the Grand Prize winner has been successfully contacted.  In order to claim the Grand Prize, the winner will need to provide their till slip as proof of purchase.
  5. The Grand prize winner will need to be in possession of a valid passport.
  6. The Grand Prize entitles the winner and their partner/ friend (no family members allowed to be taken) to a romantic 7 night getaway to Club Med Kani in the Maldives. This prize includes economy flights for two on an economy airline and airport taxes, transfers to and from the Club Med village, accommodation, all meals, open bar day and night and snacking, sports and leisure activities of the Club Med village except additional services. Any visas required for the trip, will be for the winner’s own expense.
  7. The Grand Prize is available to the winner for six months from the date that the Grand Prize winner is drawn. If the Grand Prize is not redeemed within in this six month period, the winner forfeits the prize. Prize value is valid as per supplier pricing on and before 14 February 2012. Any additional costs will be for the winner’s own expense.
  8. Instant Prizes there are 500 rewards available to be won in this promotion. These rewards include spa treatments for 2 people, dinner for 2 people, cooking lessons for 2 people, movies for 2 people and Netflorist vouchers. All vouchers are valid until 8 January 2015. Winners need to call in to 0879437624 and quote their unique pincode in order to begin the booking process. All bookings must be made in advance and using the Habari “Personal Assistant” service. (This is essential and a pre-requisite for offer redemption). All calls made into the Habari Call Centre will be charged at standard Telkom share call rates. The winner is required to give 7 days’ notice in order for a booking to be made. The winner or participants may be required to take part in publicity for broadcast or publishing purposes, which is conditional upon their agreement to take part in such publicity. By entering into the competition all participants agree to be bound by the competition rules. Transport to and from the venue is not included in this prize, and is for the winners own account. Participating venues are all contracted to participate in the offer. Reckitt Benckiser and its agencies cannot be held responsible for any subsequently declining acceptance of vouchers for reasons of their own. The offer is as stipulated by the individual venues and is non-negotiable. Reckitt Benckiser, its agents and distributors accept no liability whatsoever for the misuse of the prize and are not liable for any personal loss, injury or death arising from the acceptance of the prize. The vouchers are not transferable, for sale or re-sale and may not be exchanged for cash. The voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offers. Reckitt Benckiser reserves the right to substitute any prize for the prize of same or similar commercial value. Reckitt Benckiser, its agents and distributors will not replace any lost, stolen or damaged vouchers and reserve the right to withdraw or amend any details without notice. Winners or participants that take part in any publicity will not be entitled to any payment or other remuneration for such publicity or otherwise. All publicity and other materials will be the sole property of the promoter.
  9. Spa treatments for 2 people- The spa treatment entitles the bearer plus one guest to one pampering treatment each as offered by the selected salon. The nature of the spa treatments varies from venue to venue. The treatments offered are as stipulated by the individual salon/therapist and are non-negotiable. The voucher can only be used once and allows for only one pampering treatment per person to be redeemed. All other customers will be required to pay the full price per treatment, and all future bookings will be charged at the full price.
  10. Dinner for 2 people- The dinner for 2 entitles the bearer and a guest to a dinner to the value of R500. Any additional amount spent will be for the winner’s own cost. Please note this voucher is only valid for one dinner booking.  Details of the participating restaurants will be given to the winner when they call and all bookings must be made using the Habari “Personal Assistant” service. (This is essential and a pre-requisite for offer redemption). The offer is subject to restaurant availability.
  11. Cooking lessons for 2 people- The cooking lesson for 2 entitles the bearer and a guest to a cooking lesson. The nature of the cooking lesson varies from venue to venue. The adventure activities offered are as stipulated by the individual venue and are non-negotiable.
  12. A movie for 2 people- The movies for 2 entitles the bearer and a guest to one complimentary movie at any Ster-Kinekor Classic Cinema nationwide. The customer must call the ‘Personal Assistant’ service in order to redeem the offer and be given their movie ticket pincodes. Participating Ster-Kinekor Classic Cinemas are all contracted to participate in the offer. Reckitt Benckiser, their promoters, agents and distributors cannot be held responsible for any cinema subsequently declining acceptance of the movie voucher for reasons of their own. The movie ticket voucher has no monetary value, is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Voucher validity is as stipulated on the movie tickets printed at the Self Service Terminal or TicketLine machines.
  13. Flower deliveries – This entitles the winner to a Netflorist voucher valued at R400.00. Winners will need to call into the Habari call centre and quote their unique pincode in order to redeem their voucher. Vouchers will then be couriered to the winner; the vouchers will take approximately 10 working days to get to the winner.
